By purchasing, booking or attending a session, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

When you buy a session or session package from The Working Voice:

1. About The Working Voice
The Working Voice provides professional coaching in voice, accent, speech, communication, presentation and related skills.
Sessions may be delivered online or, where agreed in advance, in person. Services may include individual coaching, group workshops, corporate training, consultations and bespoke coaching programmes.
2. Booking Sessions
All sessions must be scheduled using the booking calendar or scheduling link provided by The Working Voice.
Purchasing a session or package does not automatically reserve a session time. A session is confirmed only once a date and time have been selected through the booking calendar or confirmed in writing by The Working Voice.
You are responsible for selecting the correct date, time and time zone when booking.
3. Payment
Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Prices are shown on the website or provided by quote for bespoke services. The Working Voice may update prices at any time, but price changes will not affect sessions already purchased.
4. Non-Refundable Sessions
Session purchases are non-refundable once bought, booked, attended, missed or transferred, subject to any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
This applies to:
- single coaching sessions;
- multi-session packages;
- workshops;
- consultations;
- bespoke coaching arrangements;
- unused sessions;
- partially used packages;
- missed sessions;
- transferred sessions.
Clients should ensure they are ready to proceed before making a purchase.
5. Sessions Do Not Expire
Purchased sessions do not expire.
Unused sessions may be booked at a future date, subject to availability in the booking calendar.
The Working Voice may update its services, session formats, availability or pricing over time. Where a purchased service is no longer offered in exactly the same form, The Working Voice will make reasonable efforts to provide an equivalent service.
6. Transferable Sessions
Unused sessions are transferable.
You may transfer an unused session or session package to another person by contacting The Working Voice in writing before the session is attended.
The recipient will be subject to these Terms and Conditions. The Working Voice may request reasonable information about the recipient in order to prepare appropriately for the session.
Transferred sessions remain non-refundable and do not expire.
7. Rescheduling
Sessions may be rescheduled through the booking calendar where the calendar system allows it.
Rescheduling is subject to availability. If the booking calendar shows a rescheduling deadline, that deadline will apply.
If you need to reschedule and cannot do so through the calendar, you should contact The Working Voice as soon as possible. Rescheduling at short notice is not guaranteed.
8. Missed Sessions and Late Arrival
If you do not attend a confirmed session, the session may be treated as used.
If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled finish time unless The Working Voice agrees otherwise.
The Working Voice is not required to extend a session or provide additional time because of client lateness.
9. Cancellations by The Working Voice
If The Working Voice needs to cancel or rearrange a confirmed session, you will be offered an alternative time.
Where The Working Voice cancels a session, you will not lose that session. It will remain available to rebook.
10. Online Sessions
Online sessions may be delivered by video call or another agreed online platform.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have a suitable internet connection, working audio, and a quiet environment for the session.
The Working Voice is not responsible for technical issues caused by your device, internet connection, software, microphone, camera or environment.
11. In-Person Sessions and Workshops
In-person sessions, workshops, corporate bookings and bespoke services may be subject to additional terms.
These may include travel costs, venue requirements, minimum booking fees, preparation time, cancellation terms and health and safety requirements.
Any additional terms will be agreed in writing before the booking is confirmed.
12. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- attend sessions on time;
- schedule sessions using the booking calendar or agreed scheduling method;
- provide accurate contact and booking information;
- participate respectfully and professionally;
- tell The Working Voice about any relevant access needs or practical requirements;
- use exercises safely and within your own comfort level.
Coaching requires active participation. Progress and results vary depending on your goals, practice, consistency and individual circumstances.
13. No Guaranteed Outcome
The Working Voice provides professional coaching, guidance, exercises and feedback.
However, no specific result, accent, vocal quality, performance outcome, business outcome or personal transformation is guaranteed.
Testimonials, examples and descriptions of progress are illustrative only and do not guarantee the same result for every client.
14. Health and Vocal Wellbeing
Voice coaching is educational and developmental. It is not medical treatment, speech therapy, counselling, psychotherapy or clinical diagnosis.
If you experience persistent vocal pain, strain, voice loss, discomfort or any medical concern, you should seek advice from a qualified medical professional, speech and language therapist, ENT specialist or other appropriate practitioner.
The Working Voice may decline, pause or adapt coaching where it appears that medical or clinical support would be more appropriate.
15. Intellectual Property
All materials, exercises, worksheets, recordings, resources, written guidance, lesson structures and training content provided by The Working Voice remain the intellectual property of The Working Voice unless otherwise stated.
You may use materials provided to you for your own personal learning and development.
You must not copy, reproduce, sell, share, publish, distribute, teach or commercially exploit The Working Voice materials without written permission.
16. Recordings
Sessions may not be recorded by the client without prior written consent from The Working Voice.
Where a recording is agreed, it is for personal use only and must not be shared publicly or commercially without written permission.
The Working Voice will not record sessions without the client’s knowledge and consent.
17. Confidentiality
The Working Voice will treat client information, coaching goals and session content with reasonable confidentiality.
Confidentiality does not apply where disclosure is required by law, where there is a safeguarding concern, or where information is already public.
18. Gifted Sessions
Sessions may be purchased as a gift and transferred to another person.
Gifted sessions are non-refundable, do not expire and remain subject to these Terms and Conditions.
19. Changes to Services
The Working Voice may update, amend, pause or discontinue particular services, packages, delivery formats or availability at any time.
Where you have already purchased a session or package, The Working Voice will make reasonable efforts to provide the purchased service or an equivalent alternative.
20. Website Use
You must not misuse this website, attempt to interfere with its operation, introduce malicious software, or use it for unlawful purposes.
The Working Voice does not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Working Voice will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of income, loss of opportunity, loss of business, reputational damage, or loss arising from your use of coaching advice.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
22. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Where consumer cancellation rights apply, they will be respected in accordance with applicable law. However, sessions remain non-refundable where cancellation rights do not apply, have been waived by the start or delivery of the service, or where the session has been booked, attended, missed or transferred.
23. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
